What is WordPress?
Simply put, WordPress is website software. WordPress is open-source content management software that is installed on your web hosting account. Currently, WordPress is used on over 25% of the websites online!
Why?
Because it is an easy, low-cost way to start a website. And since it is open-source, there are thousands of themes and plugins available so you can create a website with the exact look and functionality you need.
I started using WordPress in 2012 and now use WordPress exclusively for all of my personal and client websites.

Genesis WordPress themes are my specialty. These high-quality themes are mobile-responsive right out of the box so your site will look fantastic on any size device. Out-of-the-box Genesis themes are beautiful, but what if you want to add your logo or change the colors?

All packages include a secure, manual WordPress installation and a premium Genesis Framework theme. If you don’t know where to start or can’t decide which package to choose, please contact me for help.
Business packages – $699 and up
A Google-friendly site starts with the design. My business packages include search engine optimization for virtual or local businesses.
- Installation Genesis Framework and the child theme*
- Customize theme:
- Create color scheme to match your business your colors (or color scheme of your choice)
- Change the site name and tagline in the header or add your logo
- Create sidebars and footers, insert content you provide
- Install functionality for social sharing, search engine optimization, local search, testimonials, and security
- Install icons linked to your social media profiles
- Pages (you provide all content):
- Set up homepage with content and images
- Create contact us page with form
- Insert and layout interior pages such as about, services, or policies, etc.
- Technical SEO:
- Site speed optimization
- SSL (https)

Genesis child theme setup package – $350
I recreate the child theme demo on your hosting account, then add your colors, logo, and slider images.
- Installation Genesis Framework and the child theme of your choice*
- Set up theme demo files and plugins
- Set up homepage and sidebar to match theme demo
- Create color scheme to match your business your colors (or color scheme of your choice)
- Change the site name and tagline in the header or upload a logo you provide**
- Add 5 slider images you provide**
- Install and configure 3 additional plugins of your choice

Existing web content layout
Do you have old content you want reformatted for use on your existing site but don’t need a design package? Or do you need content from Word documents uploaded and formatted?
