This is free advertising for your business but you need a website for best results. Google My Business Setups
If your local business isn’t listed on Google Maps, you are losing out on free customers!
Not only do mobile users search Google maps for nearby businesses, your maps listing also allows you to show up in “pack” listings in the organic search results.
Packs are grouped listings that appear near the top of the search results page and show stick pins on the map. Packs are mixed in with but show above most of the organic listings.
Not all local search terms pull a pack, but many do and you need to be there. Showing up in a pack is in addition to your organic placement. That means it is possible to show up more than once on the first page of Google.
